Day 01

Kathmandu – Ramechhap – Fly to Lukla (2,860m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

In the morning, you'll embark on a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. The flight is an exhilarating journey, offering breathtaking views as you soar above the majestic Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lukla, your trek to Phakding begins. The trail descends through lush forests and crosses several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Along the way, you'll catch glimpses of snow-capped peaks before reaching Phakding. Situated at an altitude of 2,610 meters, Phakding is a charming village with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and mountains. You’ll spend the night here.
Day 02

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

After breakfast, you'll continue your journey to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, and you'll cross several suspension bridges along the way. As you enter the Sagarmatha National Park, keep an eye out for a variety of local flora and fauna. The path gradually ascends, providing breathtaking views of Thamserku and other surrounding peaks. Finally, you'll arrive at Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. Enjoy your overnight stay in this lively town.

Namche to Khumjung (3,780m)

Acclimatization in Khumjung – Hike to Khunde Peak (4,200m)

Khumjung to Phortse (3,840m)
